Research shows that the earlier you visit Career Exploration and Success (CES), the better a students’ career outcomes post-graduation. Planning for a future can be both challenging and rewarding, but CES has resources to assist students in discovering themselves, exploring careers and majors, developing skills, and pursuing goals.
CES works hard to market resources, programs, and initiatives to the over 45,000 Rutgers–New Brunswick student population, but according to Nielsen Holdings Inc. an information, data, and measurement company, “83% of consumers trust recommendations from their peers over advertising.” To stay relevant, Career Exploration and Success aspires to build trust, authenticity, and credibility here on campus through peer-to-peer recommendations. Through their marketing efforts, collaborations with key partners, and peer-to-peer recommendations, CES have increased student engagement through programs, resources, and services from 31% to 73% since 2013.
Career Exploration and Success has greatly impacted the career journey of many students on-campus. Hear recommendations from a few of Rutgers’ very own students below.
