Part-time Employment Versus Internship:
Some employers and students use the term part-time work and internship interchangeably. The primary difference between the two is that an internship must include a specific learning objective, provide relevant experience, and furthers career goals while a part-time job does not necessarily meet these criteria. A part-time job may consist of upwards of 75% clerical responsibilities unrelated to your career goals.
